Sean Kelley Owner & Designer
Sean Kelley is the Owner and Designer at Reveal Design. Sean obtained a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois - Champaign Urbana in 2004, and completed a postgraduate degree program in residential design, in Oxford, England. He has traveled widely and teaches design courses at the Chicago Botanic Garden and Northwestern University’s School of Continuing Studies. Sean’s experience spans sprawling 100-acre Hampton estates, smaller quarter-acre suburban landscapes, and urban residential respites atop high-rise living spaces. Practicing in Chicago now means that most projects are confined to 25’ x 125’ city spaces that are ripe for creative design.
Ricardo Serrano Job Site & Crew Supervisor
Ricardo is the Site Supervisor at Reveal Design, where he leads all on-site projects for the company’s engagements. Ricardo’s career in landscaping dates back to 2003 when he started working in maintenance and learned his hands-on approach to project management. As his craft expanded, he began developing gardens that involved building patios and retaining walls, laying new grass, installing irrigation and electrical systems, as well as developing, building, and maintaining complex water features. His experience in landscaping spans over a decade, and Ricardo consistently seeks out the newest industry trends to continue perfecting his craft. Ricardo lives with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, good food, going to waterparks, watching movies, and playing the card game Speed.
Taylor Palmer Head Designer
Taylor Palmer is the Head Designer at Reveal Design, where she focuses on landscape design, business development, and client relationships. Taylor’s background is in marketing, publication, and graphic design, beginning her career in the magazine industry after receiving a B.A. in Design at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. From there, she traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to work with textiles, where she solidified her passion for tangible design. Taylor approaches every design with purpose and functionality in mind. Her hybrid style is inspired by mixing contrasting elements, textures, and patterns to create visual interest. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys any and all outdoor activities, nature, and animals.
